“I do take Lactaid Pills, not because I’m allergic, but because I just hate milk and I want to defeat it while it’s in my body.”—Paul Scheer. For the rest of his 20 questions, read this. (via shirleyann)
“Be good, think twice.
Look into that blondy’s eyes
Catch glance, feel free.
Visit that link recommended by ME”—Some very creative spam. I would’ve clicked on the link had I not know they were probably peddling viagra or peepee enlargers.
Aside from kinda ruining my day…uh…musically, when the site came back up, all my songs were deleted! I know this is a free service and blah blah blah, but it takes a freaking long time to upload a mix when you’re uploading it one damn file at a time. Anyways…hope YOUR muxtape wasn’t deleted.
BEST CONCERT OF '08: ROBYN at the Phoenix Concert Theatre
Well, it was my first concert of the year, and first one ever in TO, but it definitely goes down in my book as one of the best concerts I’ve experienced. I didn’t really know what to expect since I’ve never been to a “pop” concert before. Words really can’t describe how freaking awesome Robyn was. Never have I been so in the palm of an artist’s hand.
Some highlights from the show:
Cover of Salt-n-Pepa’s “Push it”
Robyn’s dance moves
Totally redone minimalist version of “Show me love”
The big ass grin on Robyn’s face when singing “”Show me love”
The crowd totally showing love
The GQesque backing band
The only let down was she didn’t play “Robotboy,” but that’s aite, girl, you made my night.
There was a short time in my life when I was a bit obsessed with the intro part of Air’s “Cherry Blossom Girl.” In memory of that time, I made another mash-up featuring Air’s CBG. Again, Jigga makes an appearance, but that’s in the second part of the mix.
